It stores data in Amazon S3 or EFS, supports multiple concurrent users and meets security standards with data encryption and compliance certifications. It allows users to automate and monitor file transfer workflows using SFTP, FTPS, and FTP protocols. It's ideal for modernizing file transfers within financial and healthcare institutions and enhancing trading network collaborations.

AWS Transfer Family offers secure, modern file transfers, billing based on enabled server-end protocols, amount of data uploaded/downloaded, and message count. No initial costs. Charges apply for data processed via Workflows and for calls/data sent/retrieved using SFTP connectors to remote servers. Use of multiple AZs entails no extra charges. Prices differ across regions.
