Features include automated secrets rotation for security, compliance, and replicated secrets for disaster recovery and multi-region applications.

AWS Secrets Manager pricing

AWS Secrets Manager's pricing is based on the number of secrets stored and API calls made. There are no upfront costs or long-term contracts. AWS charges per secret per month, and also charges per 10,000 API calls. The fee for secrets stored for less than a month is prorated. If a large volume of secrets shall be used, the organization is advised to contact AWS. AWS also offers a 30-day free trial period for AWS Secrets Manager.
