DMS ensures high availability, reduces database management tasks, creates data protection redundancies, replicates ongoing changes, and improves data lake integration.
Database Migration Service pricing
AWS offers a one-year free tier for its Database Migration Service (DMS), which includes 750 hours monthly of dms.t2.micro instance use. After this, customers pay hourly rates for replication instances and extra log storage with no long-term commitments. DMS Serverless also charges for used capacity. Features like DMS Fleet Advisor and Schema Conversion are free, but Amazon S3 storage costs apply.
