Finally in control: a migration into confidence
Spraye found its edge by going deep into the lawn care niche. Their software does something special: alongside scheduling, invoicing and customer care it tracks used chemicals automatically, in a way that satisfies regulators. But as the company grew, digital infrastructure stress grew alongside it.
Challenge
The company never experienced a real infrastructure crisis. Yet leadership always knew: Spraye's growing customer base relies on the software’s constant availability and security, and we are not in full control. They asked ElasticScale to perform a technical audit and were impressed by the service level that was provided. The level of understanding of both the technical and business side of Spraye made an impression too. So they decided to take a leap into the future and migrate their digital infrastructure to the ES Foundation platform.
Solution
As with every migration to ES Foundation, the key part was matching the technical side of AWS with the specific needs of the customer’s operations. After designing the right setup and mapping out a migration journey, we teamed up with the people at Spraye.

Then, on Monday, growing user load exposed a handful of configuration issues left over from our original, pieced-together setup. Luckily, ElasticScale was ready. - A standardized AWS environment, built entirely as code across five isolated accounts, with a multi-AZ Aurora database that scales itself with seasonal load, auto-scaling Fargate containers in a private network behind Cloudflare, dedicated encryption keys for every data store, and nightly backups in a locked vault that nobody can delete, not even an administrator.
- Constant monitoring, including automatic guardrails and monthly reports.
